Watch out for Mussie! This lake is known for the legendary sea monster Mussie who is believed to live in this deep lake. Muskrat Lake is located in the Township of White Water Region. It is a fairly large lake with an approximate length of 16km. The average depth of the lake is 58 feet with a maximum depth of 210 feet. A great Lake for boating & fishing with a wide variety of species from walleye, perch, bass, pike and Muskie.
The town of Cobden borders on the lake and offers plenty of small shops, cafes, & restaurants to enjoy. Pembroke and Renfrew are both only 15-20 minute drive away making Muskrat Lake a desirable location to live.
